Trump Shot at Pennsylvania Rally
Former President Donald Trump was rushed off the stage with blood on the side of his head and his ear after shots were fired just minutes into his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening.
A spectator was also killed at the rally. Secret Service said Trump said in a post online that he had been shot in the right ear.
According to reports, a man fired at least one bullet, and possibly several from the crowd around 6:30 pm as Trump took the stage. Trump quickly ducked behind the podium as the gunshots rang out and his security detail rushed to his aid amid panic and chaos.
The Secret Service then rushed Trump off the stage and into a nearby vehicle that took him to the hospital. Initial reports indicated that Trump was not injured, but later reports suggested that he may have suffered a minor injury to his ear.
